Most of my lasting relationships both platonic and friendships have been with persons of short stature. I think it was the need that we had for each other. The most enduring. Also, when I am in my manual wheelchair I am about 4'2" (lose about 2' of height in my being in a wheelchair). So it is nice to be "face to face" with someone, instead of face to belt buckle, if you know what I mean.
